Summary of Mark 15
The chapter opens with the Jewish authorities condemning Jesus and handing Him over to Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor. Despite Pilate’s attempts to acquit Jesus, he ultimately yields to the pressure of the crowd demanding Jesus’ death and releases Barabbas, a prisoner, in His place.
